VMP Evaluation Findings Related to Changes in Teaching Practice, Drawn from... By Penny Nolte, Douglas Harris, MSP Evaluation Summit II, October 4-5, 2006.

The project is proposed by a partnership, which includes three institutes of higher education, the Vermont State Department of Education, the Vermont Mathematics Initiative (VMI), the Vermont Institute for Science, Mathematics, and Technology (VISMT) and 4 school districts.

The project is building upon the VMI Exemplary Teacher Model, a leadership model in K-6 mathematics by expanding the effort to include middle and high school mathematics, whole school systems and preservice education. The partnership is seeking success in all schools, for all teachers and all students.

The Principal Investigator of Vermont Mathematics Partnership is Kenneth Gross. More information can be found on a separate web site created by this project: http:// www.vermontmathematics.org/ index.htm .

This site was created to enhance communication and collaboration between partners within the Vermont project as well as to inform the public of the efforts of the Math and Science Partnership Program. While selected documents in the library and resources sections have been made available to the public, only logged in members of the Vermont Mathematics Partnership project can post comments, participate or read posts in the Working Groups, or see the interactive Calendar.
